Primarily a small works exhibit, a variety of creations perfect for gift giving will be offered and a percentage of every sale from the show will be donated to WE CAN a nonprofit organization based on Cape Cod that is dedicated to empowering women to achieve lasting positive change. WE CAN changes lives. For 10 years, WE CAN has empowered Cape Cod women of all ages to successfully navigate challenging life transitions such as divorce, career change, job loss, illness, retirement, isolation or personal loss. Woodruffs will also be raffling off a framed print with all the proceeds going to WE CAN. A wine tasting, sponsored by Liberty Liquors will take place during the opening reception making this event even more special. Hill and Dale as well as Tukulu wines from South Africa will be available for tasting.
In addition to Amy Rice, Anne Hitch, Cecilia Capitanio, Gayle Olsson, Lisa Horton, Leo Lechtenberg, Ned Manter, Chris O’Dell Ferguson, Anne Parshall and Rob Vinciguerra who have participated in the 2011 Lunar Art Reception Series at Woodruff’s, guest artists will be included in this last exhibit of the year. Some of the local guest artists are Bobbi Bailin, Cynthia Cruz, Gabrielle Osborn, Kelly Burdge and Cailyn Ferguson. Artists will be presenting working in collage, watercolor, acrylic, jewelry, acrylic, stained glass, oil, sculpture and photography
