Highfield Hall: Lasting Impressions: The Art of Printmaking, An Exhibition from the Printmakers of Cape Cod
The world of printmaking is wonderfully, surprisingly varied. It embraces both abstract and representational works and many different techniques including linotype, wood block, monoprints, and lithography. Each print, more correctly known as an impression, is considered to be an original piece of art. Printmakers of Cape Cod (www.printmakersofcapecod.org) was organized in 1976 to encourage, assist, and promote printmaking on Cape Cod and beyond, and to provide educational opportunities to all those interested in original prints.
