Food for Fines Week
From June 5 through June 9, 2012, the Brewster Ladies’ Library will be collecting nonperishable food items. Bring in food and any late fines on your library card will be forgiven! If you have any overdue library materials, bring them in – paying the fines won’t get much easier than this! Fines on lost items will not be forgiven.
Food will be donated to a local food pantry. Items especially needed include canned beef stew, canned tuna, canned pineapple, peaches, pears, and fruit salad, canned corn beef hash, Rice-a-Roni-type products, pasta sauce, catsup, mayonnaise, and coffee.
