This is a curious exhibit indeed. A delightful variety of art forms are represented in this group show. A giant osprey sculpted in wire lands upon gnarly driftwood, light illuminates through stained glass shapes of a cod fish suspended in air creating a watery shimmer, playful kittens show there warmth in soft graphite tones. Oils, watercolor, collage, acrylic and pastels are also instrumental in creating fascinating creatures.
The artists represented are all from Cape Cod. Stanley Ellis, Richard Ferreira and Gerald P. Phelan are showing for the first time at Woodruff's Art Center and join Anne Hitch, Chris O'Dell Ferguson,Leo Lechtenberg, Cecilia Capitanio, Rob Vinciguerra, Cynthia Cruz, Amy Rice, Gayle Olsson, David Kelley, and Lisa Horton.
