Highfield Hall: Sunday Mansion Tour and Estate Walk on the Beebe Property
Docents tell the story of Highfield Hall and the Beebe family that built it, along with its sister mansion Tanglewood, on their magnificent 700-acre estate. Learn about Beebe Woods, the unfortunate demise of Tanglewood in 1977, and the role the Beebe family played in the history of the town, and you'll have a new perspective on the Beebe estate that now includes Falmouth Hospital, the Greengate neighborhood, Falmouth Academy and so much more. The tour begins inside Highfield Hall at 12:30 pm, with a $5 suggested fee. Reservations are encouraged, but not required, either by calling 508-495-1878, ext 303 or emailing info@highfieldhall.org.
