Death With Dignity - Make an Educated Decision at the Polls
On November 6th, Massachusetts voters will be asked to vote on a so-called "Death With Dignity" ballot question that seeks to legalize doctor-prescribed suicide for certain patients. Patricia Stewart, an attorney with the Educational Alliance on Doctor-Prescribed Suicide will be here to provide an overview of this ballot question, highlighting and explaining how provisions of the proposed law will affect the elderly. We also hope to have someone from Dignity 2012 - The Campaign for Death with Dignity speaking on their views of this issue.
Call 508-896-2737 to reserve your seat for this very important discussion. Don't miss the opportunity to gain information necessary to make an educated vote at the polls.
Please note the later time for this program - 4:30PM - to accommodate those who might still be working, our younger voters, and the families of our seniors who might be interested in this topic.
