Staff from ZooQuarium will bring animals from the petting zoo for residents and children to touch and learn about. The show is likely to include a tarantula, skunk, turtle, bunnies and baby lambs. The ZooQuarium show is free and open to preschoolers and their families.
The ZooQuarium opened in 1969 to house tropical fish and dolphins, but has since expanded to include Massachusetts wildlife, a petting zoo and a Children’s Education Center. The Zoo strives to protect these animals and educate the community about them. Every year, 75,000 visitors and 25,000 school children visit the Zoo for its educational and entertaining programs.
