The Cape Cod Museum of Natural History in Brewster Presents New Findings on Prehistoric Artifacts from Wing’s Island
The Cape Cod Museum of Natural History in Brewster will present New Findings on Prehistoric Artifacts from Wing’s Island with Dr. Fred Dunford on Sunday, May 1 at 2 pm. $3/Member and $5/Non-Member. Dr. Fred Dunford will share his new insights on the island’s archaeology from the first transects excavated on the southeast part of Wing’s Island in 1995-96. Through a PowerPoint presentation and display of the original stone artifacts, Dr. Dunford will offer his understanding of earliest life ways behind the Museum. This program is a rare opportunity to explore this extraordinary discovery in depth with the preeminent archaeology scholar of Stony Brook Valley.
