The Historic Drummer Boy Park along the Kings Highway hosts a variety of traditional American made works at the Brewster Summer Arts and Craft Festival on Saturday July 27 and Sunday July 28, 2024, in Brewster, MA. Pulitzer prize willing investigative journalist with the Boston Globe, author Stephen Kurkjian will be at the Osterville Village Library presenting "Solving The Lady Of The Dunes'. On becoming Provincetown's lone police detective ten years ago, Meredith Lobur visited the gravesite of the town's most famous murder victim, a woman whose identity had been unknown since her body had been found in 1974 on a lonely stretch of the town's legendary sand dunes, and made a solemn pledge - "I'm going to get you back to your family." It took more than a decade but staying current with the advances in DNA research and using her legal background as well as continuous prodding of the FBI, she was able to assist in finding the woman's identity and reunite the woman's remains with her family. Once her identity became known, more secrets would emerge... Qigong with Margie Mitchell returns to West Falmouth Library. Cost is $10 per class for those who pre-register at westfalmouthlibrary.org/qigong/.
