Wine and Music Wednesday is an open house held in our Gallery on the third Wednesday of every month from 6:00pm to 7:30pm, with wine tasting and live music. The first event was held in March of 2010 and it has become a very popular event at the Center.... (more)

August 14 - September 29 “Aging Gracefully” a group artist interpretation exhibit will be on view at Woodruff’s Art Center in Mashpee Commons. There is a meet-the-artists reception of Wednesday, August 14th from 5:00 to 7:00pm with refreshments. Cotuit Center for the Arts presents “Broadway Backwards” on Wednesday, August 21, at 8 PM. The show, produced by Tedi Marsh and John Weltman, is a fundraiser for the arts center. Favorite local performers prove gender doesn’t matter, but love does, as they explore and embrace the great songs of musical theater with a twist: the men sing songs intended for women and vice versa. The Cotuit Production features David Kuehn, Matthew Gould, Celeste Howe, Beau Jackett, Tedi Marsh, Martha Paquin, Rebecca Riley, Christopher Schultz, Sara Sneed, and John Weltman, accompanied by Misao Koyama.... Contemporary Gallery: McDermott Glass Studio For over 18 year master glassblowers David McDermott and his wife Yukimi Matsumoto and their team have been producing magnificent glass that has been displayed in hundreds of galleries across the country, as well as the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston and the Sandwich Glass Museum. The tight-knit team, that also includes Isabel Green and Peter Waechter, produces distinctive glass in a collaborative and synchronized way.... (more)
