The Cape and Islands Orchid Society’s annual orchid show returns to the West End Rotary to bring a splash of color to winter for its 35th year. Featuring hundreds of exotic and vibrant orchids on display, attendees can walk among award winning orchids, listen in while orchid experts share their secrets, and even shop for orchids, artwork, and supplies to nurture these beautiful flowers at home. Still just $10 per adult and $5 per child (with credit cards accepted), and with a new two day pass for $15, the 2026 Annual Orchid Show will bring color to the heart of anyone who loves the beauty of orchids in bloom.... Safe Place provides those who have lost someone to suicide a caring, confidential, and peer- based support group where they do not have to be alone with their grief. Safe Place is free of charge and facilitated by trained volunteers, many of whom are loss survivors themselves.... (more)
