Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be a glass blower? Come to the Sandwich Glass Museum for your own up- close and personal encounter with working molten glass! While the class is aimed at beginners with no prior experience, you can also have fun coming back to try new techniques. The Glass Experience is suitable for persons aged 12 and up. $150 per person / $275 for two people / $400 for three. You will be working with molten glass so please dress appropriately.... (more)

Create your very own pebble art & sea glass design using beach materials such as sea glass, stones, pottery, coral, shells & driftwood! Have you ever wanted to learn how to create a picture using materials found directly off the beach? Come join local guest artist Kerry Consentino- Vilorio owner of The Orange Jellyfish, who creates beautiful custom pebble art and sea glass designs. During this two-hour class, we will each create our own custom pebble art picture using various styles of beach sea glass, pottery, stones, driftwood and shells directly hand picked off local New England beaches.Each design will be glued on to cardstock and enclosed within an 8×8 glass frame.This class will allow for a great deal of autonomy, allowing for one to work within a relaxed environment while working at their own pace.... Around 1997, Pokemon took the U.S. by storm. Trading cards, video games, toys, stuffed animals, almost anything! Personally, I was absorbed by the Pokemon culture. My best friend even got a holographic Charizard trading card in his very first booster pack! Years later Pokemon has continued to consume people’s lives! And in a positive way.... (more)

Curious to learn more about a glass heirloom? Bring it to the Sandwich Glass Museum on Saturday May 9th and have it assessed by our panel of glass scholars. Panelists' areas of expertise covered many styles and periods of glass art, including early American, European, mid- century and contemporary techniques. This event will take place in the Hirschmann Theater at the Sandwich Glass Museum from 10am - 2pm, with a break for panelists from 12-12:30pm.... (more)
