Book Discussion at Brewster Ladies' Library
The Brewster Ladies’ Library Book Discussion group has chosen A Gate at the Stairs by Lorrie Moore for its December reading selection.
Lorrie Moore is the author of Birds of America and Anagrams. A Gate at the Stairs is her first work in 15 years. Publisher’s Weekly calls it a “luminous, heart-wrenchingly wry” novel with “graceful prose” and “low-key clarity.”
The discussion will be held in the library’s meeting room on Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. All are welcome to join the group or attend the event.
