Acclaimed children’s author T.M. (Ted) Murphy from Falmouth will sign copies of his children’s Christmas story, “Saving Santa’s Seals”, at Borders. “Saving Santa’s Seals”, published by Leap Frog Kids, tells the tale of 8-year-old Ryder’s Christmas adventure. It begins with a secret key, involves elves and captive seals, and ends with a very special gift from Santa Claus. Fittingly, the Cape Cod-inspired story includes talking seals, ocean elves, underwater caves and a salty old Sea Captain. It’s an adventure geared for kids aged 6 -12, but equally appealing to parents who want to be connected with the 8 year-old inside them.
