This original history will take the audience from the time of the Cape’s formation at the end of the last ice age – 20,000 years ago – to the present. Free with Museum admission.

Part 1 of the presentation will move from the formation of Cape Cod by the last ice age to the breakdown of relations between Native Americans and English settlers.

Part 2 will explore farming and whaling to the tourism takeover of Cape Cod. There will be a short question and answer intermission. Those who wish to see only Part 2 may come at 1:45 pm. This program is a unique opportunity to experience an overview of Cape Cod’s remarkable natural and social history through compelling historic photographs, drawings, maps and commentary.
