The “New Markets for Artists” Workshop sponsored by the Community Development Partnership (formerly the Lower Cape Cod CDC) will begin its seventh season on February 6th, 2009. The goal of this intensive 3-day marketing workshop is to increase the competitiveness of Lower Cape artists in the growing, year-round national “Cultural Economy”.

Panelists Oren Sherman and Rick Miller will present the tools needed for artists to secure an edge in this lucrative market. New Markets for Artists will include over 20 hours of skills building designed to hone and expand the participants’ artistic business skills. The workshops will be held on Feb 6th, 7th and 8th, followed by five monthly group sessions.

The cost of the “New Markets for Artists” Workshop is a sliding scale of $150-$300 and is based on income (more information is provided in the application). Class size is limited to 15 participants.
