Cape Cod Museum of Natural History 2016 Biomimicry Exhibits
Two new exhibits highlighting Biomimicry, an approach to innovation that seeks sustainable solutions to human challenges by emulating nature's time-tested patterns and strategies, are now open for viewing. Biomimicry New England's "Innovation Inspired by Nature" teaches visitors how knowledge gained in learning from nature is the foundation for sustainable innovation.
IFWA's interactive exhibit "A Seal's World, Beneath Cape Cod Waves" highlights the seals of Cape Cod as well as other marine animals found locally. IFAW explains Biomimicry and how humans have borrowed from marine animal designs to develop innovative products.
