Kids and adults are invited to watch that classic movie E.T. in a special outdoor screening in Mashpee Commons on Saturday, October 23 at 6:30 PM. The movie will be shown on a 21' foot screen in high definition. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets, chairs and goodies for a cozy evening under the stars. The cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children and all proceeds support the Mashpee Dog Park. The dog park has been approved by the Board of Selectmen and 1.5 acres of land on Ashumet Road have been designated for it. The Mashpee Dog Park Committee is in the process of raising funds with the goal of breaking ground next spring. So gather with your children, your spouse and your friends to relive those magical moments from the 1982 blockbuster film that won four Oscars and had millions falling in love with an Extra-Terrestrial!
