Author Talk with James E. Carroll
We welcome Cape author and attorney James E. Carroll to the library on Wednesday, October 21 at 4 p.m. Carroll is the author of the Jamie Carson Legal Thriller Series (Reasonably Foreseeable, Cross Examination, and the most recent Murder on Cape Cod), where intricate legal disputes, relentless advocacy, and unexpected twists keep readers turning pages. Each novel combines authentic courtroom drama with suspenseful storytelling drawn from his decades of litigation experience. Join us as Jim discusses his legal career and how he draws on his experience in his novel writing. Free and open to all. Part of the library’s Community Voices series.
James E. Carroll is an attorney and an author of legal fiction. His Jamie Carson Legal Thriller Series opens a window into the world of high stakes litigation in federal and state courts practiced by only the best lawyers. A Franklin, Massachusetts native, Jim is Jesuit educated at Boston College High School and Fairfield University. After teaching in private and public high schools, Jim graduated cum laude as a member of the Law Review from Suffolk University Law School. He spent three years at a large Boston law firm before joining the Office of Special Litigation as a Trial Attorney for the U.S. Department of Justice in Washington, DC where he cut his teeth trying numerous cases in federal court around the country to verdict on behalf of the United States. Jim lives on Cape Cod and in Vero Beach, Florida.
