'Discovering the Cape Cod Seashore' with Author and Science Educator Gil Newton at the OVL
Gil Newton, science educator, author, and one of the founders of the Barnstable Land Trust, will be presenting ' Discovering the Cape Cod Seashore' at the Osterville Village Library. This exciting program will introduce the participants to the variety of marine plants and animals along the Cape shoreline, their ecology, and the diverse habitats in which they are found. The presentation will include a survey of marine mollusks, crabs, echinoderms, sponges, horseshoe crabs, seaweeds and other common species. We will learn about the great marine diversity in our local waters. Don't miss this informative program. This will take place on Saturday May 24th at 11am in the Main Meeting Room.
