The Ecology of a Cape Cod Salt Marsh. One of the most important ecosystems along the east coast is the salt marsh. Join Gil Newton as he takes you on a tour of this fascinating wetland. You will learn about the ecological significance of a salt marsh, its many uses throughout history, and its diversity of interesting plants and animals that live in a marsh. Mr. Newton will focus on the mashes of Cape Cod and why they are economically and environmentally important.
