Larchmont Remembered with Daniel Harrington
Learn about New England’s worst maritime tragedy, the sinking of the SS Larchmont, at a free talk Tuesday, May 20th 4-5pm at the library. Providence Journal columnist Daniel Harrington recounts the 1907 collision that sank the wooden steamship in Block Island Sound in Rhode Island. Please register online for this event.
Larchmont Remembered is written, produced and presented by Daniel F. Harrington. A graduate of the University of Rhode Island and self-described recovering politician, Mr. Harrington is a former East Providence City Councilor and long-time monthly columnist for the Providence Journal. He is the past President of Chartwell Wealth Management and currently works as a Securities Principal for MassMutual. Mr. Harrington also serves as a Director for the Rhode Island Heritage Hall of Fame.
