Exploring the Life and Music of Claude Debussy
Professor Marie Rolf, pianist and the leading Debussy scholar of our time, will trace the artistic growth of Debussy from early compositions to his mature works. Encounter some of the most important friends and patrons, fellow composers, writers, visual artists, and aesthetic ideas that shaped Debussy throughout his life. Professor Rolf will play excerpts from several works by Debussy.
