Dodge Macknight: Building his World
The Sandwich Glass Museum & Historical Society will host a conversation related to their ongoing exhibition, “Dodge Macknight: A Life in Color.” Curator Julia Blakely and Professor Timothy Orwig, an architectural and social historian at Boston College, will talk about the artist and his connection to two significant figures in the Boston cultural world, Desmond Fitzgerald and Joseph Everett Chandler, and their impact on the town of Sandwich.
Come join us on Sunday afternoon at 2pm, on March 8th in the Museum’s auditorium. Light references will be served; no reservations are required.
