CapeCon 2026 will look a little different from our past CapeCons. 2026 will be centered on empowering the community with the confidence and skills to achieve their dreams of publishing a graphic novel, science fiction writing, making your own zines (DIY free expression on paper! Examples to follow) and spread them out all over the Cape for everyone to enjoy. Some events we will be hosting are a panel on publishing, a zine workshop, and a Pikachu felt head creation workshop! Don’t worry, we will also have our usual CapeCon highlights like two running Dungeons and Dragons one-shot campaigns (campaigns that can be finished in a day). Character creation assistance will be available and our excellent Dungeon Masters will fit you in to the campaign whenever you like! All levels of experience are celebrated! There will be retro-video games (come get a glimpse on Wednesday nights in the YA room on every Wednesdays from 5:30 PM – 8:00 PM), a super smash tournament, Magic the Gathering deck building and playing, arts and crafts, a raffle, AND don’t forget to dress up!! These materials are of great value to those struggling with mental health and/or identity exploration. Falmouth Public Library is here for the entire community.
