Over the top drama, exaggerated emotions, high stakes, sensational situations…Gip’s wildly popular adaptation of this Edgar Allan Poe short story was a huge hit in 1990. Gip passed away recently and his creative influence extended to many, many artists in Lower Cape theater. We have chosen to mount this production to honor Gip’s early work, and incredibly fertile creative energy. James P. Byrne will direct this dramatic production that is a designer’s dream and we have the dream team of designers with J Hagebuckle’s original music, Ryan McGettigan’s scenic design, Cat Perry on costume design, John Malinowski’s lighting. Stage manager Kaleigh Mason’s expertise helps bring every moment seamlessly to the stage. The cast features Nathaniel Hall Taylor, Mike Steers, Jade Schuyler, Ari Lew, Colin Bourget, Jefferson Thomas, Jenn Pina, Jack Kerig, and Julie Allen Hamilton.
