Saxophonist Harry Allen is one of the leading swing players of his generation. He has recorded over 70 albums, including three that have won Gold Disc Awards from Swing Journal Magazine. Mr. Allen was inducted into the Jazz Monsters Hall of Fame in 2020 and his album, Under a Blanket of Blue if Blue, with guitarist Dave Blenkhorn was a top-three finalist in Frances’s Acadamie du Jazz’s Prix Du Classique. Not only was this album recorded remotely but it was also mixed and mastered by Mr. Allen. He has appeared on countless other recordings with jazz and pop legends including Tony Bennett, Dave McKenna, John Pizzarelli, James Taylor, Ray Brown, Tommy Flanagan, Mose Allison, Sheryl Crow and Kenny Barron. Mr. Allen has performed in festivals and clubs worldwide and he frequently tours the United States, Europe and Asia.
