This program covers 0.5 miles, traversing diverse habitats including a pollinator garden, vernal pool, forest, freshwater pond, and salt marsh. We'll move at a slow pace, taking time to observe and listen for songbirds, shorebirds, wading birds, and other wildlife.
The 0.25-mile out-and- back trail is largely flat and surfaced with well-packed crushed stone, has frequently spaced benches, and is suitable for use by most wheelchairs and other mobility devices. We will begin and end at the Nature Center.
