The Spring StoryWalk® at Jane’s Garden at the library is Is it Spring? by Kevin Henkes. If one day buds bloom and birds chirp, and the next day a late snow falls from the sky, is it spring? Will it ever be spring? An evergreen, child-friendly picture book that explores themes of patience, hope, the seasons, and nature by the New York Times bestseller and Caldecott Medalist Kevin Henkes. Visitors are welcome during daytime hours.
StoryWalk® promotes early literacy, physical activity, and family time together in nature. It’s a fun and educational family activity that you can bring to your community! Take a stroll and enjoy successive pages from a children’s story along your path. StoryWalk® was created in 2007 by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT, in collaboration with former KHL staff member Rachel Senechal, and is a registered service mark of the Kellogg-Hubbard Library.
