National Parks of Northern California presented by Explorer Steve Farrar at the OVL
Mountains are the common denominator of the parks we will visit in this edition of our “See America” series – the spectacular granite peaks of the Sierra Nevadas and the soaring volcanoes at the southern end of the Cascades. Of course, there are additional features to spice up the virtual trip, like the largest living things on earth, the tallest waterfall in North America, the deepest lake in North America, as well as a view of the most inspirational valley anywhere. Our guide Steve Farrar will narrate his adventures as we tour one of the most memorable (as in, unforgettable) regions of our country. This program will take place on Saturday July 26th at 11am in the Main Meeting Room.
