Music at the Atwood – Under the Tent – The Fred Clayton Band + J-Place and the Rockers– Outdoor Concert
Join us for night two of the Atwood Museum’s, Music at the Atwood Outdoor Music Week featuring Cape Cod’s, the Fred Clayton Band and J-Place and the Rockers. The Fred Clayton Band and J-Place and the Rockers: Fred Clayton was born in 1958, in Birmingham, Alabama. At the age of 11, he moved to Boston, Massachusetts, where he started studying music at the Elma Lewis School of Fine Arts. Later he moved to Western Massachusetts where he met his inspirations; Archie Shepp, Marion Brown, Steve McCraven, and Avery Sharpe. Settled on Cape Cod where he runs a blues jam every Sunday night at O’Sheas Olde Inne. For the past 5 years, Fred has been organizing the Summer Concert Series at Aselton Park. Come listen to these impressive artists on Thursday, 07/24, as they jam together at the Atwood Museum! Tickets are $50 and are available on our website. The concert begins at 6:00PM and doors open at 5:30PM. Both alcoholic and non- alcoholic refreshments will be served. We cannot wait to see you there!
