The evening will begin with a panel discussion moderated by PMPM Executive Director Courtney Hurst, whose own family roots run deep in the fishing industry. Panelists will include filmmaker Geoffrey Bassett, producer Kim Roderiques, fisherman Keith Rose, fisherwoman Margarita Antova, shell fisherwoman Barbara Austin, and shell fisherman Clinton Austin, whose lived experiences help bring this story to life.
Set against the backdrop of Provincetown Harbor— where fishing has shaped both livelihood and identity for centuries—this promises to be a meaningful evening of storytelling, conversation, and community under the stars.
Guests are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs and blankets for the most comfortable viewing experience. Some folding chairs will be available.
No outside food or beverages are permitted.
Please note that outside food and beverages are not permitted on campus. Any food or beverages brought onto campus, including alcoholic beverages, will be confiscated and disposed of by PMPM staff. Guests who do not comply with this policy will be denied entry or asked to leave the event.
The Shallop Bar will be open before the program and throughout the evening, offering cocktails, mocktails, snacks, and other refreshments. We encourage guests to arrive early, enjoy the view, and settle in before the conversation begins.
A portion of ticket sales will benefit the Cape Cod Commercial Fishermen’s Alliance, making this a wonderful opportunity to support two local nonprofits while enjoying a memorable night on The Hill.
