Around 1997, Pokemon
took the U.S. by storm.
Trading cards, video
games, toys, stuffed
animals, almost anything!
Personally, I was absorbed
by the Pokemon culture.
My best friend even got a
holographic Charizard
trading card in his very
first booster pack! Years
later Pokemon has
continued to consume
people’s lives! And in a
positive way....
